1099Calc is designed as a static website. The tax calculators and educational content run client-side in the browser, which means they do not require a server-side database or a user account system.

We do not intentionally collect, store, or sell personal tax information from visitors. The calculator inputs you enter are processed locally in your browser and are not transmitted to a backend or stored in a database as part of this site’s design.

This website may still use standard analytics or third-party services if they are later enabled, but the current implementation is intentionally lightweight and does not involve account creation, tax data storage, or user submissions to a server.

We may collect general website usage information through standard server logs or analytics tools if a hosting provider or future implementation uses them. This data is not used to store tax estimate inputs and is not intended to be personal tax information.
